The Writing Center is now open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 4:45. We will be there to help you at any stage of your writing process. This applies to any writing assignments in any class.

Are you interested in cooking? Want to meet others who love to cook? An interest meeting for a new Culinary Club will be held Thursday, December 5, after school in D101. See Mrs. Garcia for more information.

On Track ACT Prep Boot Camp is December 7 from 9:00-12:00. If you are registered for the December 14 administration of the ACT, you should attend. Cost is $80. See Mrs. Sella for more information.

There will be an important meeting for all of those interested in playing tennis Tuesday, December 10, at either 7:45 am or 4:00 pm in Coach Long’s room A212. You only need to attend one of the meetings. If you have any questions, please see Coach Long before Tuesday.

Calling all Juniors and Underclassmen: A second informational meeting about the culinary tour in Italy for Summer 2021 will be held on Thursday, December 12, at 6pm. Stop by Mrs. Garcia's room D101 for more information. Travel scholarships will be discussed and a parent must be present. Space is limited!

If you are interested in ordering copies of your yearbook pictures from LifeTouch with cash or a check, you can bring your payment and order form to Mr. Long in A212 by Friday, December 13. Orders may still be placed directly from LifeTouch online at mylifetouch.com.

If you are a freshman interested in taking the PSAT9, now is the time to sign up! Your test results will set a baseline measurement of your college and career readiness as you enter high school. The cost is $12 1 and can be paid to Mrs. Dye or on Payforit.net. Deadline to sign up is Wednesday, December 18.

Students in the 9t​h​, 10t​h​, and 11t​h​ grades who are interested in a career in the health field may sign up for the AHEC of a Summer program focused on careers in medicine. You may sign up in the front office if interested in applying or learning more about this hands-on opportunity.

Do YOU like to be goofy and funny and tell weird versions of famous stories? Then come audition for TAP Drama's production of THE BROTHERS GRIMM: SPECTACULATHON, a comical attempt at the re-telling of all 209 fairy tales collected by the Grimm brothers, including Cinderella, Snow White, Rapunzel, and The Princess and the Frog! Open Auditions will be held Wednesday, December 11, and Friday, December 13, in AX07 from 4:00 to 6:00. Only 5 spots are available so audition as early as you can! If you need help with math, come to room A112 on Tuesday mornings from 7:45-8:15 for Math Club peer tutoring. Bring your math work with you.
