Are you interested in becoming an Entrepreneur? Bizcamp is a free entrepreneurship training program offered this summer from June 17-28.  If you’re interested in applying, stop by the front office to pick up an application.

Go online and vote for Captain Shreve's entries into the Shreveport Green PSA competition.  On April 25th, the video with the most likes wins a $500 grant for their school! Look for links to the videos on the Captain Shreve website, and give them a thumbs up!  Each email address can vote one time, so we need everyone to vote!

Don't miss Film Prize Jr., Louisiana's biggest student film festival!  Films screen Friday night starting at 5:30, and all day Saturday starting at 9 AM.  You can also see interviews with the filmmakers, and even vote for the winner! Captain Shreve has 4 films entered!  Film Prize Jr. is part of ArtBreak, and is upstairs at the Convention Center downtown. Admission is free!

Are you planning or already working on a research or writing assignment? Would you like a little extra time to work on it at school or have someone help you get over the rough spots? If so, we have a Writing Center Workshop after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-4:45 in room A214. We are there to answer questions and help you with problems. This applies to any research or writing assignment in any class. Contact Ms. Reeser with questions.

Attention off-campus PE students:  The 2019-2020 off-campus forms are available now. You may pick one up in the front office from Mrs. Carter if you wish to participate in off campus PE next year. You must have the packet filled out in entirety and return to your current counselor by the deadline. No exceptions to the deadline. (Read 5/10)

If you need a little help with your math class, the Math Club is here for you.  Come to room A112 on Tuesday mornings from 7:45-8:15. Bring your math work with you and get help from some of Captain Shreve's best math students.
