Tonight at 6:00 Gator boys basketball takes on Southwood in the Swamp for the DISTRICT TITLE! Let’s pack the gym!  Go Gators!

Attention Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior Gator Gals: If you are interested in serving your community and want to learn about how to join Z Club, please attend one of the interest meetings. Come see us in the auditorium Tuesday, February 12, at 4:00 pm or Wednesday, February 13, at 7:45 am. The meeting should last about 30 minutes.  See Mrs. Lombardino in MH12 or Ms. Karamales in MH09 for more info.

Lady Gators basketball take on Fountainbleau in the Swamp on Thursday night at 6:00 in the 1st round of State playoffs! Let’s show our support by showing up!  Go Gators!

If you are interested in working on a project that will be seen for years to come, the yearbook staff is for you  We are looking for great writers and photographers to join our staff. Applications to join the 2019-2020 Log staff are available in Mr. Long’s room A212.  If you are chosen to be on the staff, you will be notified before the end of the school year.

Attention off campus PE students:  The 2019-2020 off campus forms are available now. You may pick one up in the front office from Mrs. Carter if you wish to participate in off campus PE next year. You must have the packet filled out in entirety and return to your current counselor by the deadline. No exceptions to the deadline.

Reminder: Deadline to turn in 2019-20 registration folders is Friday, February 15. Juniors, turn in to your English teacher. Sophomores and Freshmen, turn in to your 1st period teacher.  

Are you ready to dance and be a part of a phenomenal team while you do it!  Come join us at clinic and tryout to be a member of the Highline. You can pick up a packet from Mrs. Wilson in A102 between classes. Packets and fees are due by February 22.

It’s that time of year again! Anyone interested in trying out for JV or Varsity cheer can pick up a packet from Ms. Gentry in MH10 between classes.  Packets and fees are due by February 15.

Are you planning or already working on a research or writing assignment? Would you like a little extra time to work on it at school or have someone help you get over the rough spots? If so, we have a Writing Center Workshop after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-4:45 in room A214. We are there to answer questions and help you with problems. This applies to any research or writing assignment in any class. Contact Ms. Reeser with questions.

If you need a little help with your math class, the Math Club is here for you.  Come to room A112 on Tuesday mornings from 7:45-8:15. Bring your math work with you and get help from some of Captain Shreve's best math students.

Attention Students taking ACT on March 12: On Track Prep will be offering an ACT bootcamp at Captain Shreve on Saturday, March 9, from 9-12 pm in Magnet Hall. This is an amazing opportunity for students to get help from certified instructors to boost those ACT scores at a reduced rate of $80.  For more information, registration and payment, contact junior counselor, Ms. Allen.
