The Spanish Club meeting has been moved to Wednesday, January 26, at 4:00pm.

4H Club will meet this Thursday, January 6, from 4-5 pm in room MH-10 (Mrs. Morris' room). We need a volunteer or two to put out the signs. Please have your rides here by 5:00 pm.

In December 2021, the Quality Science and Math Grant program awarded over $5,000 for equipment to support teaching and learning in biology, chemistry, and mathematics at Captain Shreve High School. Teachers applied for grant funding and submitted standards-based lessons to target the needs of their students. Students will use equipment to conduct scientific investigations and learn core concepts regarding biodiversity in ecosystems, genetics, laws of thermodynamics, and statistics. Teachers awarded are Sarah Arnold, Zachary Bandaries, Amy Douglas, and Henri Loridans.

Are you struggling with your Math class? Need a little help with your math homework? The math club is offering free peer tutoring every Tuesday in room A112 from 7:45 to 8:20. Come get help from Captain Shreve's best math students. Bring your math work with you. Ask your math teacher for more details.

Students, check the Shreveport Times Athlete of the Week site and vote for Captain Shreve athletes. Vote as many times as you can.

Students in the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades who are interested in a career in the health field may sign up for the AHEC of a summer program focused on careers in medicine. You may sign up in the front office if interested in applying or learning more about this hands-on opportunity--15 days in June 2022. Deadline is March 4, 2022.
