If you need help with math, come to room A112 on Tuesday mornings from 7:45-8:15 for Math Club peer tutoring. Bring your math work with you.

The Writing Center is now open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 4:45. We will be there to help you at any stage of your writing process. This applies to any writing assignments in any class.

Attention all Gators!! Wanna dunk your teacher? Or throw a pie in the face of your teachers or fellow classmates? The Gators for Good Carnival is next Thursday! All students free of any Out of School Suspension or In School Suspension get a wristband to attend the Carnival at 3:00 on March 12. If you've had any suspensions, you'll need to talk with your 1st hour teacher about attending the Carnival for a $5 donation.

Tickets for the Carnival will be on pre-sale in the cafeteria foyer during the lunch shifts next week. Tickets are 50 cents each and are needed to pay for all food and games. Buy your tickets during lunch so you don't have to stand in line during the Carnival. We'll have Dillas, Rotolos, Happy Bellys, a giant slide, cake walk, bungee run, and much more!!! All proceeds benefit Malik Chappell and Kirsten ​​Chase.

Juniors and Seniors: The Prom is April 4 at LSUS Ballroom! It’s going to be a Gator Gatsby Gala! Start asking your dates now and sign up your non-Shreve date in Mr. Silvie’s office beginning March 9.

The 4-H Club will meet on Monday, March 9, at 4:00 pm in the library. This month we are collecting acrylic paint, small paint brushes, foam paint brushes, hand sanitizer, board games and card games for MedCamps of Louisiana. Also, don't forget to bring bags of candy for our Gators for Good booth. Looking forward to seeing you at the meeting.

Bossier Parish Community College & Benteler Steel & Tube are looking to select the next cohort of apprentices. We would like to present to all of your graduating seniors about two exciting college/career pathways. We encourage you to not limit this opportunity to select students, but allow all graduates to learn about this educational pathway that will lead to a high wage career, completely debt-free. Visit will be March 11 in the cafeteria foyer. Stop by if interested!

Attention all Gators: Captain Shreve is proud to announce its annual offering of the ACT On Track Prep boot camp March 14 from 12:30-3:30 pm. If you are taking the March 17th administration of the ACT, this is an amazing opportunity for students to get help from certified instructors to boost those ACT scores at a reduced rate of $80. Ever wanted to learn to twirl or spin a flag? Students interested in trying out for Majorette or Flagline can​ pick up a packet from Mrs. Jenkins in A101 or Mrs. Davis in MH03 between classes. Packets are only available for those who attended the parent meeting on February 20. Tryout packets and fees are due by Friday, March 20.

Attention Fairfield Elementary Magnet Alumni Senior Class of 2020: There will be a 5th grade class reunion for all students and teachers in the Fairfield Magnet auditorium on Friday, April 17, 2020, from 3:30-4:45. We will celebrate with pizza and cake and reminisce by looking through old yearbooks and by watching our 5th grade DVD. We hope everyone can make it!
