Once you begin to read this book, it will be interesting. The book is okay while you get into the middle its gets boring while ending. Me personally, I think this book get two stars. Its not a bad book but, it not a really good book either.

I think this book is really good its about the Holocaust i liked it and i would recommend someone to read this book its interesting.

 That book was good. It told everything about her life. It also gave some great things on the Civil Rights movement. She helped a lot with the NAACP. This was a really good book I hope everyone reads it.

This book was a very good because it displayed what black people had to go through. He is a black natoinalist leader. this book is a non- fiction. He is fighting for black pride and self determination. He is a brave leader because he put his life on the line they could have really hurt him and family. At first he could not really understand why racism going on. I suggest  anyone to read this book because you actually feel what black people had to go through back then because he really goes in detail   

The book was an ok book. It talked alot about how people back in the day. I would recommend people to read this book. I  really did like it.

       My book was called Into Thin Air.  I would recommend this book to anyone.  It is about trust, strong will, character, and courage.  The book was interesting and I enjoyed it.

This book was very interesting, I liked learning about how he grew up. At first i believed he was a rich man since he was a child but I learned he was just like me. He had to work hard to get to where he is in life. This man was a great man and he is a great role model.

• I would  recommend this book to any and everyone that is capable of reading it. It was a very interesting book. It discusses the history and the importance of Jazz. It talks about the real life facts about Jazz and how it influence our culture. Louis Armstrong was a very intelligent and well educated young man who dedicated all  his time and love to Jazz! I enjoyed doing my report on this book. I wouldn’t mind doing another one.

 I read the Diary of Anne Frank: Beyind the Diary and i would recommend this book for every student who is learning the Holocaust to read this book because it not only tells about her life but it gives you an in depth picture about her life and also other lives of other Holocause victimes. In her diary that she wrote she told about her everyday but inside Diary of Anne Frank: Beyond the Diary it gave a more clearer picture because it showed her parents life before she was born it also told about her sisters life. The book is also great in another was because it gives pictures.The overall book was great and i would read it again.

It was a very good book and think more people should read it. The book was about a little girl who was telling us  about a young girl when she was living with parents and siblings. They were forced to leave their home. They had a horrible life after they were forced to leave they saw people get killed. But overall it was a pretty good book to read and I think everybody should read it.

This book was very interesting. It really made me feel like i was in the story.This is a great book to do a project on. You would really like this novel. It may look like its a long book but once you open it, it gets interesting.

Flags of our fathers was an extremelygood book. The book was very informational. I found out some stuff in the book that I didnt know. For instance The shot at iwa jima with the flag was not the original shot, it had been done twice and the flag raising was actually staged.

This is a very good book. It’s about a teenage boy who goes into the army and is a gunner. Him and his crew that are in the tank with him go through several battles. As they travel through many towns and across many rivers, they are trying to defeat the German army. I reccomend this book to anyone who likes to read books about war.

Flags of our fathers was a pretty good book. It was very informational. I learned alot of things by reading this book that I didnt know before. For instance the photo of the flag raising was not the first raising. The photo that we know, and is so popular was actually staged and done more than once.

Soldier Boys is a great book about two boys from the opposite sides of the world.  They both go to war in the second World War.  They are in the Battle of the Bulge when the the true colors of the American soldier shows.  If you are interested in stories about young teens in the struggle for acceptance, read Soldier Boys.

Catch-22 is a fiction book that takes place during World War II. It satirizes our military and government.  The book is about a paranoid pilot named Yossarian, and it also follows many other characters.  Yossarian learns of a catch that can get him out of duty.  If you are insane then you are not fit to fly or fight so if you can proove that you are insane then you get out. The catch is that if you refuse or show reluctance to fly or fight then you are deemed sane, so in order to be declared insane you must show no hesitance or awareness of the dangers.

It was a very funny and politically adept book and I recommend it highly.

I thought the book on Macarthur was a good book, if you were looking for a short bio with a lot of information.

WW2 and korean war general .

To me this was a very good book. It showed so many different aspects of life as a military person. I learned how hard life could be and and why we have fightimg soldiers today. This book is basically an inspiration to all military vets aound the world. It shares tragic stores but in the end it can put a smile to your face. I recommend anyone to read this book and become part of a fufilling inspiration.

This book is based on the sufferings of people in the middle east. It covers the revolutions of iran and the uprising of the modern day taliban. It was a great book with its detail of certain peoples lives and the way they tie in together. I recommend it as a must read.

Soldier Boys is a great book and I enjoyed reading it. It is about two boys on opposite sides of the world in the World War II era. The two are from America and Germany and they face off in the Battle of the Bulge. I won’t tell anymore you’ll have to read it and I reccommend it to anyone interested in war books.

This book is about the crime scene investigations of the unabomber. It goes into great detail about modern methods and the technological advancens in the crime scene investigations that take place today. These type of books all feature crime statistics, career info, and crime-busting facts. Photographs and bibliographies are also included in the book.

This book was very emotional and broke everything down to me in a way that touched my heart.  In the book it talks about Americans who were captured as POW in WWII. At first I didn’t know that many Americans were captured. The things these soilders suffered from the war really made me think of how many sacrificed from my America.

I liked this book. It was a good look into Lou Gherig life and why he loved the sport of baseball. They kept it interesting by giving growing up being an immigrant to the new world.

This book is the awesome story of a great black leader. Its longer than it looks but its worth the read. If you want to know something about a great leader this is where to look

A Year Down Yonder was a great book.  It has alot of adventure and it is easy reading.  I would recommend this book and anyone.

The book was great. The book talk about her life time and her srtuggles. From the beginning to when she comes to be a millionare. I will recommend this book to everone in the whole world. Ohpra Winfrey is my hero

The book MAUS is about a jew who is on the escape from Hitler and Auschwitz. The book is in Comic form, so it is easier to imagine how is really was. Everything is dercribed in detail, how it all started with Hitler and the jew-threatening, how the jews got sent to Auschwitz and how most of them end up in concentration camps. It is a very sad book, because I never thought how it really was, but it is also a very good book.

This book was very interesting. It had alot of true stories about world war two. If you want to learn alot about world war two then i recommned you to read the book, and if you don’t then don’t read the book. I thought the book had alot to say but truthfully some if it was dull but other parts were very interesting.

As Eagles Screamed is about a young guys account of joining, being trained, jumping into Normandy. This book has alot of shooting and action.

My Book is about a man name Scott Pendleton Collins. It is a very good book if you were doing a report on it. This book is not basically a story, It is a Journal of what he did in the Normandy,France war.He wrote a journal day by day sometimes if he had a lot to say.  Scott was a good solider who always was called on if they need to go out to bomb. He never had to go out big as if like he had to fight against another countries,but he did have to battle a country when they were on the France beach. If you need any information about Scott Pendleton Collins his Journal is what you need to read.

I strongly recommend this book because its very adventurous. This book helps break down WW2.This book is a good social studies..

This was an extermely good book it told alot of the struggles of the Iranian people. It was an book that I would recommend to any one looking to read a book about an third world country.  I would recommend this book to any one with alot of time on their hands.

This book is about a young African-American boy named Bud.  His mom died when he was young, he has treasures she gave him that he takes everywhere with him.  He is an only child and lives in an orphange home for a little while then a foster home, he then soon runs away, because the family was really mean and treated him wrong.  He goes through a lot of adventures through this book it was taken place in the mid 1900s.  He meets lots of new people on his journey to find his dad he never met.  He ends up joining a bands that has something to do with his family.

The Watons go to Birmingham is an amazing book. It is about a family that is on a trip to send their oldest son to his grandmothers to hopefully help him to be less bad. This trip leads them to one of the most historical events for African Americans. This book is a must read.

The book Night is a great story. Eli Whitney talks about the day when the Holocaust started. When he and his family had to ride a crowded train to Auschwitz. All his family died but him. He talks about the horrible days he experienced.I think everyone should read this book

The book Jarhead was very interesting. The book is about a marine who tries to survive in the wilderness. The movie is nothing like the book. The movie is better.

The book “Life in the Hitler Youth” by Jenifer Keeley is a good and is full of detailed information. It is written in a factual manner. Jennifer Keeley uses many original German words. The “Information Boxes” enclose very detailed information about certain people or certain termes. The book body of the book is well organized, every chapter talks about a special part of the Hitler Youth. The pictures enclosed in the books are original footage and are well chosen.

I think the book is excellent and I would advice the book to other students. I have read a lot of books about Nazi-Germany and still learned new facts from this book. It is excellent literature for World War II to understand what was going on and how the Youth was included in all this. I think the book is very good. 

The book She Said Yes is about a young christian girl was steadfast and strong towards her faith. One day, a group of rebellious boys shot many students as well as teachers, and eventually themselves. Many were injured but there were those who died, including Cassie Bernall; the young christian girl. It is said that she was asked if she believed in God by the gunmen, and her answer was yes, and she was shot, and died.

Night is a awesome book. this book is about a young boy in a concentration  camp with his father struggling to survive.

though this is book is sad it also inspires you.  I advise everyone to read this book.

The Hiding Place was different from what i read but was a great book.  It is something everyone should read.  This book lets you know about a brave family who helped those in need no matter what it would cost them because it was the right thing to do.  It is an inspirational book.  The father and two daughters help the people being hunted because they knew that just because they looked different or had a different religion that they were just as good as them.  I recommend this book to anyone who loves to read.

The Boy in Striped Pajamas was a great novel. The style in which it was written was made for all ages to read, it was simple, yet effective in meaning. The roots of the story are about the basic emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion’s that were present in most, if not all, of the people on the other side of the fence when the Holocaust occured. (The ones in the Striped Pajams.) It was a such a wonderful book, I do recomend to anyone that has any interest in the Holocaust, or even the emotions of people who are distressed. (It should also be read by anyone that feels like picking up a good read.) The story shows how our emotions tie us to others that are in horid situations, even if we do not experience them ourselves. The natural flow of the story adds to the child-like, but not childish, theme of the whole novel.

This was a short comic book on the battle of Guadalcanal. I abosolutly loved this book! It really hepled me to better understanding what went on during this battle. I would deffinalty recommend this short book to anyone.

This was a great book. I believe that it was an exciting way to inform people, who read this book, about Mrs. Parks journey to end bus segregation. I really enjoyed this book hopefully others will as well.

flags of our fathers is a really good book. it’s the real story of the most famous picture of second world war, it’s the story behind the myth of the seven heroes, it’s very strong and powerful. I really really like it, it made me feel a lot, I think that everybody should read it because it’s not only very very good but explain in a vivid way the bloodiest battle of the pacific war, and the loss of lives that a war can cost. i loved it!

I Really Liked This Book because it was about Vince Lombardi a legend in the football world.

This was a good book to read because it takes you into the life of one of the most famous lawyer the world have came to know. I like the book so much because it gave me a goal to work for because in the book it show how him and his family came from nothing and made something of his life.

            Left for Dead was a very good book. It shows you how courageous people can be when the time comes. If you enjoy history, and you also like thrillers then this book would be perfect for you. You are always wondering what will happen next. You won’t want to put this book down. I hope you’ll read it and then you yourself will learn so many stories of what happened on the USS Indianapolis.

This is a very good book to read. Its about a guy named Scott Pendleton Collins who was in the battle of Normandy, France. It is a journal that tells what Scott was going through during the war. If you want to know what really happened on the beaches of Normandy, then read this book. It also tells you about other battles in different cities in France. If you are doing something on the Battle of Normandy, France, then this would be a really good book to read.

I Had Seen Castles, is an incredible book and I really enjoyed reading it. It’s a fast read, exciting, and it really changed my perspective on war. I think that everyone that is capable should read this book. IT’S GRREEEAAT!

  This is an excellent book about the Holocaust. I think it’s a good book because it tells you what life was like for a girl who was not put into a concentration camp . She was a rescuer for Holocaust victims and this is the way the Holocaust was to her from her point of view.

I enjoyed reading this book for several different reasons. I liked it mainly because i like to read about sports. Babe Ruth was a guy who was well known for hitting homeruns in baseball. If you ever get the chance to read this book, read it because it will tell you intiresting things about his life and not that he was only well known for homeruns.

This was a very intersting book.   It showed all the struggles that Bill cosby went through as an African American man.  He grew up poor and didn’t have anything at all.   He  had a way of making people laugh; this payed off in the long run.  He is known as “America’s Dad”.  This really shows you that not everything was easy back in the day.

Lilies of the field is a good book to read. If you are trying to figure out why you do the things you do, you need to read this book. This book covers religion and hard work. I would recommend anybody to read this book.

Old Man and the Sea is a good book. The beginning of the book is not very interesting, but the story gets better in the middle and in the end. This story is full of adventure and is full of twists and turns 

A separate peace, by John Knowls, was a really good book. I admit that takes a while to get into it. But once you get into it its a good book. I think that all people can really connect with the charcters. In some way or another everyone can connect with one of the boys in the book. I, myself, would connect with Gene, because I sometimes feel envy toward people. And I also have a friend like Finny. And I feel that I need to protect her. I think Gene feels he needs to protect Finny. Even if sometimes he doesnt show it. Other writers have said that Gene killed Finny. I don’t think he did. The surgery killed Finny, Gene wasn’t even the cause of Finny’s second fall.
