The Captain Shreve Alumni Association offers a scholarship for a graduating
senior. Each applicant is required to submit a 250-500 word essay on the topic
of how he/she plans to attend based on educational needs. See Ms Day for an

Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding has established a scholarship program to support
high school students planning to attend a community college, or a
vocational-technical school. The recipient will receive $1000-1500 to help with

The Lou-Ark Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers is offering a
scholarship for a student interested in pursuing a degree in the field of
petroleum engineering. Ms Day has an application form, and you must send it in
by May 31, 2010 to be considered.
The Grambling University Alumni Association (GUNAA) is pleased to offer
scholarships to Caddo Parish students interested in attending GSU this fall. The
scholarships range from $500.00 to the coveted $1500.00 Eddie Robinson
Scholarship. See Ms Day for an application and be sure to get it in by April 1,
2010.
EnCana Oil & Gas Inc. is looking for a few good students to receive their $10,000 scholarship. Only one student per school will be selected and the applicant must have an interest in engineering, geology, oil and gas process technology, or land administration. The completed application must be received by April 15, 2010.
Tulane’s School of Architecture is offering a summer program from June 14 July
2. Your days will be filled with lectures, field trips, discussions and other

Animation and Visual Effects Academy. The program will run from June 1st to June
